WriteRN.net’s MOST POPULAR Blog Posts of 2017!

The end of the year is upon us and I am ready to share the most popular blog posts for 2017 on my website this year, but first, let’s talk about the development of the blog over the past year. Towards the end of 2016, I decided “I really need a blog”. I started to blog consistently for a few months, then, we moved….not once, not twice, but three times.

Not only that, but I also joined Carol Bush in launching the Healthcare Writer’s Network and my coaching business. I added content to The Social Nurse blog, and therefore, slacked on mine. Towards mid-summer this year, I realized, I needed to get back to my own blog. I finally figured out my audience, who I wanted to help, and my mission to coach and help others with their businesses to help grow mine.

This year I launched the coaching business and also my virtual assistant business. At the end of the year, I purchased a Passion Planner and created content for all of 2018! So be ready. I am contemplating moving my email list from Mailchimp to ConvertKit so I can offer more and more freebies for YOU!

So, I loved ya 2017. You gave my family so much happiness, but also a lot of tears. We went on a few mini-vacations, tackled our first tent camping adventure (and added more adventures), enjoyed two amazing weddings, an escape to Florida for a week, and made a good living. I had a few close friends/family members diagnosed with cancer and lost a friend to an overdose. Let’s take a look at what my amazing readers loved this year in my most popular blog posts of 2017.

2017 Most Popular Blog Posts

1. Write RN August 2017 Recap + Added $700 to my income + 2 More Clients!

This is one of the first and popular blog posts when I jumped back into my blog. I was astounded by the traffic it received! I was really nervous about posting it because I didn’t want to be judged about my income or my struggles. I wanted to share that I am a real human trying to do this on the side — as hard as it is sometimes. It was nice to hear great comments about it. So many people thanked me for my transparency.

2. What does a coaching session look like?

This was a fun post to write. I came to the realization of how much I love coaching this year. I love to watch people take their love of writing into their #nextprnjob. I share in this post images of what it looks like to work with me.

3.  Why Clarity Is Essential To Your Business + FREE WORKBOOK

Who doesn’t love free? This is just one of the popular blog posts that is completely FREE and was also the first real opt-in I did this year. I love creating, and this guide was a lot of fun for me to make. If you haven’t grabbed your guide, head to that post.

4.  Top 7 Holiday Gifts for Writers

This post was also a lot of fun to write. I followed it up with 7 Top Holiday Gifts for Nurses. Plan to see a gift guide like this in the future because people loved them so much. I hope you do too!

5. 11 Freelance Experts Share Their Favorite Tools for Productivity – Use them for 2018!

I LOVE this post! I love every single contributor to it as well. I had a lot of fun creating it, and I hope it is helpful to everyone! I learned some new tricks and tips myself that I am going into 2018 utilizing.

6. My Newest Organization Tool – My Passion Planner

THE most popular post on my blog is this one. I don’t know why, but I am assuming because everyone has a sense of wanting to feel organized. Therefore, for 2018, I am going to dedicate one post a month to this planner. I want to use it for my everyday life and business. That is what I love about it. It can incorporate both. Thanks for reading and being a part of my 2017! Let’s bring in 2018 together! Let me know if there is anything you are struggling with that I can help you with a future blog post!
